Residentes In is a Cuban band based in Belgium. Created under the impulse of his director "El bamba" in 2009, the band plays live Cuban music with contemporary arrangements:

mambo, cha-cha-cha, reggeaton. A strong Latin jazz influence, mixed with a soul of funk.

Residentes In is so danceable because of the subtle mix of Caribbean rhythms. The young musicians who compose the line-up are most-of-all Cuban native "residents in" Belgium... But that's another story.

Residentes In is a Cuban band of which all members are Cuban residents in Belgium.

Residentes In has the ambition of exploring Cuban Son music with present time arrangements and is full of Caribbean rhythms such as Mambo, cha-cha-cha, merengue,latin jazz, cumbia, boleros, timba, guaguanco-salsa, reggaeton etc...

Residentes In respects in their own way the Cuban classic repertoire but also offer their own themes such as "Tropical", "Calle amor", "Si no llamas".

Residentes In is the result of 20 years of experience of their director Adalberto "el Bamba". Adalberto graduated at the Conservatorium Amadeo Rodan as professor of Teoría y Apreciación musical in 1989. Later he graduated as a base player at the Felix Varela school. Bamba has worked with a large number of groups such as Progreso C. Avila, La orquesta Sublime, Ritmo oriental, Argelia Fragoso, Las hermanas Nuviolas, Yumuri y sus hermanos, La Charanga Habanera, Tropicana, Atache habana, Sonora Caribeña, La Sonora Cubana... and was also musical director and made the arrangements for the band Azucar Negra.
